Updated V-Box Times - Before & Afters
Hey Guys, I just installed the .2 PDK Intercoolers today and drove about 300kms to let the car adjust as much as it could, I did some V-Box runs and I will compare the following results:
0-100 Km/h: 3.9s
100-200 Km/h:9.5s
After The Tune:
0-100Km/h: 3.4s
100-200Km/h: 8.1s
After Installing Intercoolers:
0-100Km/h: 3.3s
100-200Km/h: 7.0s
After Installing Intercoolers + Octane Booster:
0-100km/h: 3.0s
100-200Km/h: 6.4s
I am amazed by the difference the Intercoolers have on my 100-200 times!
Please comment!
Note:
- Before my tune (Exhaust, IPD Plenum, Aftermarket Headers, Forge DV's)
- After my tune (+ Proto Mafless Tune, + Aftermarket Air Intake)
- After installing the .2 Intercoolers ( - Air Intake & - Headers)
0-100 Km/h: 3.9s
100-200 Km/h:9.5s
After The Tune:
0-100Km/h: 3.4s
100-200Km/h: 8.1s
After Installing Intercoolers:
0-100Km/h: 3.3s
100-200Km/h: 7.0s

100-200Km/h: 6.4s

Note:
- My tune still needs to be Re-Tuned as my ignition timings are low in some areas (Todd K. reviewed my data log)
- Runs were made on 93 Ron Fuel
- Runs were made on the exact same road. Temperatures on the After Tune and After Intercoolers are nearly identical.

Thanks! Yeah the difference is Huge! I didnt do any dedicated 100-200 runs, these results are with Launch Control (Brake Boosting) from 0Km/h, The last I recall when I saw the data log My redline is somewhere around the 6500-6600RPM range. I will double check soon if your interested.

Cool. Let us know when you find out. You have a very fast car-congrats. You might want to upgrade your motor before you keep pushing it. Be careful. Check out my post with the bent rod.
