Tech art makes some nice stuff too, from what I have seen.

Yeah, that's a good looking car. The mirror housings in my pictures are yellowed junk- not sure what they were. I have ROTtech CF mirrors now, but this is the only picture I have taken of them:
I think all CF gets yellow no matter if they are Rottech, DB or whatever other brand out there, if your car gets a lot of sun 24x7 you are not a good candidate to have CF parts in the exterior of your car.....

Thank you for sharing the pictures!! I really love your car (I have it in my Facebook as a remainder of how I want my car to look like)

I work a fair amount with carbon fiber in my job. In this case - my picture- the culprit is poor quality resin (the parts we're talking about are most likely epoxy resin infused). Cheap carbon fiber parts are much more likely to yellow with things like sun exposure (or even just time). A top coat with UV protection can help preserve the resin, but a bad quality top coat can also turn yellow. For the sake of comparison my Werks1 wing - installed at the same time as the old mirrors - looks brand new -no yellowing at all. Get the good stuff

I'm glad you share your pics! Do you recommend Rottech CF? I'm looking for CF mirrors right now! (In getting my wing on the 19 :-)

I read the top coat for the ZR1 cost $70000 per gallon.... So maybe if a CF part is cheap it can't be good!! No?
