Thanks for the feedback. I will try this out during the winter when I remove the bumper to do a couple of tweaks...

I was a bit nervous at first that it might look "off" but I think it looks perfect. What yall think? .
I apologize for the crap pics. Ill shoot some actuall outdoor pics this weekend.

Agreed, did mine tonight. Nice addition! Questioned my wife on this, before I did it and noticed that you’re before and after photos showed this. Silver vs. Black am I wrong? Also a newfloor jack (blue.) Anyhow, nice idea! I had to do it! It looks great! I may do some radiator painting though.

I used a pairing knife. Be careful though, it can easily get away from you with such a rigid end. I knew I bought a expensive knife set for something!

Thanks triblk6spd!

Haha. Ya good eye. The before pic was a pic I took last week not RIGHT before I hacked up my front end lol. One thing I did was wipe down the plastics behind the grill w armor all. This definately "blackened" behind the grill.

nice shop

your car looks great! Don't have enough resolution on this monitor to see the white car behind properly...what is it? just a fancy body kit?

power of google -- looks like a Strosek body kit, not many of those around here.

OP not trying hijack thread...anyone looking to blacken up all exterior parts need to look at a product line called 22PLE. Simply amazing! All my black is better than new x 3 months now.

Take a look of the new 991 GT2, the grill is gone and it looks like your car without the grill

What grille kit is that? I am looking for a black mesh grille. Can anyone post up some links to the mesh grills that are known to be a good product? Also- did you have to remove your front bumper to install it?
