Arctic Silver 997TT on Breyton GTS-R wheels
This is my new to me 07 turbo. So far, it has GMG springs and sways (great mod) and AWE gen 1 exhaust. No software planned since the car is fast and I track the car (already have done one event).
I just added Breyton GTS-R wheels from tirerack wrapped in OEM size Bridgestone RE11 tires. These are forged wheels that weigh a little less than stock. The specs on the wheels are 19x8.5 / 19x12. The offsets are not that aggressive, and suit my style well and especially are fitting for tracking the car since aggressive offsets can cause rubbing and other issues.
Anyway, below are the pics. Im really happy with the way they turned out. Car feels great with the new wheels and tires, improvement in handling and steering even on the street, cant wait for track.
And yes, I know the front bumper paint job sucks (from prior owner), working on getting it resprayed.

Classy style. Offset looks about rite. Another nice option to all the big name frged companies
Silver is a hard color to paint and bumpers dont match perfectly to the panels they meet up with.

yea, not happy with the look of the front bumper compared to the rest, but all things considered, I bought the car to drive it (and track it a lot) and in that, its perfect
thanks for the comments everyone.
the wheels are forged which was important to me since the 911tt is somewhat heavy and I track the car.
the weights are listed per tirerack (where I got the wheels) as 17.3 for front, and 21.xx for the rears. I paid around 2400 for the wheels which is a great deal IMO for forged wheels.
they remind me of the competiton package wheels from the e9x m3 (used to own) so I always have loved this style of euro mesh wheels. kinda similar to bbs racing wheels as well.

Beautiful car, congrats. You might want to reconsider a conservative tunelater though. I track my car a lot tooso I put it off for a while (too long) but it makes a huge difference – you will explodeout of corners on the track. I did theFVD tune about 3 years ago and have had zero reliability issues. <o></o>

thanks mate! I agree, not a huge fan of black wheels, except sometimes track wheels on a white car. jmo
thanks man. it is tempting, but two things are holding me back. one, I don't want to have to buy a new clutch which it seems is mandatory with a new tune. two, I track in 100 degree heat often here in Houston. I believe that a tune WILL increase the likelihood of problems with my engine (although not possible to quantify how much, it still would by increasing boost and heat) and I don't want to deal with that. to me, the car is really quick on the track already. if I do make that move, it will be sometime in the future.
I have decided to add gt2rs IC though and exhaust to make the car run cooler and more consistent. the only other mods are brakes and tires.
thanks for the feedback, and if I do tune the car, I will look hard at fvd!
