PASM Help

Hello,

So after looking for suspension for some time, one of our friends who owns a 2011 Turbo S decided to go with the JRZ.

I figured I'd wait and see how it was before I made a decision for my car.

Anyways, we installed the suspension with no problems, however, PASM light comes on and it doesn't let you turn on Sport Plus.

So I got Durametric Pro, and I de-activated PASM, and we removed the Fuse for it.

Well the car still turns on the PASM light, and the PSM light too.

Is there anything else I need to do to completely turn it off?

When I do it with the car on idle, it worked fine, however, after driving it some, it comes back on.

Any ideas please?

Thank you.

I haven't used Durametric to shut off PASM before, but here is the correct sequence for PASM shut off in a 997.1TT.

I do not know if the sequence is the same for a 997.2TT.

1. Insert key, hook up PIWIS
2. Code ECU to PASM "not installed."
3. Turn off ignition
4. Disconnect PASM module located right side front passenger footwell.
5. Re-insert key, hook up PIWIS
6. Initiate "Vehicle Handover" procedure
7. Select "Functions completed" and enter chassis number.
8. Clear all faults.

Thank you,

I did all of those steps except disconnect the PASM Module, instead I disconnected the Fuse. Or are these two the same thing?

I physically disconnected the PASM module, didn't touch the fuse.

I think there are two ,one in front under the hood and one in the back under subwoofer.Control units have shock pasm wires and power wires attached to them.

The PASM module is in the passenger footwell. Pull back the carpet from right under the dash where it meets the door, it's tucked up almost behind the glove box. It's the only one there as far as I know.
