997 turbo tiptronic switzer R911 vs vr900 vs ams alpha9 vs evoms 850 vs champ. mot.

Which is better in terms of pumpgas power , racegas power , price ,relialibility? Base car 997.1 turbo tiptronic with stock internals

Switzer R911 --> pros : proven results , on the top 10 list in moscow unlimited , proven realibility cons: high price ?
VR900 --> pros: 16k is a very good price . But I cant find any race data .
Ams alpha9 --> pros : good price around 19k ,, carbon made , looks good ,
Evoms 850 --> 49k
Champion motorsport --> 25k pros vtg turbocharger which is a good thing for the turbo lag

But how much pumpgas 93octane horsepower does this powerkits produce ?

if alpha 9 is making this on whp , does it make 1000 crank hp

vividracing : Our test vehicle was a 2009 997 Turbo Tiptronic and on 93octane at 1.5bar of boost, we were still slipping all 4 wheels on our Mustang Dyno while putting down 788awhp. The Mustang Dyno generally has a 20-25% drivetrain loss from crank horsepower. Do the math and that is over 900bhp.

o.O does R911 make 900 whp ?

I would go with the Switzer P800 if I was you. R911 uses GT30 Turbos vs AMS uses Alpha 28, big difference. The P800 from Switzer uses GT28.

AMS kit is 19,000+Exhaust=$23,000
P800 is $27,000 with exhaust, you also get headers, GT's instead of Alphas and a 2 year warranty. Give Neil Switzer a call he would your questions.

Either way on that list you mentioned I would only consider Switzer or AMS. That's my 2 cents.

P800 Should put you at 700whp on 93 octane.

No, r911 out performs the alpha 9 by far, but they're completely different price categories.

R911 will on race gas or E85. It's hard to make a 1,000 on 91 or 93. You will need a built motor and gt35's probably.

please can you explain to me something ? the build motor aka 3.8 4.0 4.1L I need in order to run big turbos gt35 in order that the engine walls will support the pressure from the turbo ? but what about hp , does build motor produce more hp ? in order to build the motor I need to change the pistons which are somehow cheap around 2k , than the piston heads and the camshaft? which produces hp , piston head?

ps. your are build the exact thing I wont to build , techart look , 900 hp ,hre wheels , congratulation to the awesome ride

Honestly everything comes down to your goals and use. How often you drive it and what kind of racing will you be doing 60-130 or 60-200? I would contact protomotive and Switzer tell them your goals and see if you can put something together in your target price range.

I think P800 also comes with a clutch for the manual cars.
