Torque solution products
Hi guys I am ordering the coolant fix from them as I have the notorious leak and I'm thinking of ordering these products below and I wondered if anyone has fitted them to their cars yet and had a good experience?
I wanted to know if there is any extra vibration or any cons vs pros that you came across?
Street transmission inserts,
Subframe bushings.
Cheers,
Nick.

Those exhaust mounts won't do you any good since the exhaust mounts directly to the engine and the support frame that connects to the engine mounts. Not sure why they have those listed when you select 997 turbo. Interested in the shifter bushings though.

I believe those TQ solution coolant pipes were designed primarily for 996tt? I had to get Betim at BBI to replace the one's the didn't fit on the 997t. You might want to contact him for a complete set for 997t.

Thanks for the heads up as they never mentioned this at all.
I will contact Betim.
Cheers.

Yup and the thing is if that happened to me while my engine is out that would of caused major problems and delays.
So a big thanks again and a rep point

So whats to stop me from welding the stock ones in place?
P.S. I'm seriously thinking of going 3.8ltr or 4.1ltr now my engine is out

You can't just weld stock pipes "as is" because of the epoxy. It melts and causes a mess and screws up the weld. So you have to carefully remove the pipes and clean all surfaces thoroughly. Removing the stock pipes can cause damage to them if you're not careful.
Good luck in advance with the build.

I saw this video on YouTube last week.
So if Torque Solutions cannot confirm the kit they are trying to sell fits 997tt then I will probably go down the YouTube video route.

Now this this thread is around I hope it will help people to do the same thing.
Just takes a bit of patients aye. I always tell people including myself to be patient as the rush/quick route is an expensive one which I have learnt over the years!

And yes it great that you don't really need the extra parts and if you follow the method on YouTube you can still weld them instead of using the bonding agent.
