Best Auto Detailer around SF or Bay Area?
Hi everyone, I'd like to have my car completely detailed and I live in SF. I normally do it myself by hand but I want it done professionally. I went to California detail with my old car but I wasn't impressed. They did a good job but I know it can be done better. Anyone have any recommendations? I'd like to keep it under $700.
TIA

Great guy will come to you as well, not sure about your costs target, depends on level of work required.

David Sanders of street dreams is tops. He is in San Diego. 700 bucks might not do it with any of the top guys for a full paint correction and coating. I strongly recommend a coating as it lasts longer a d protects better. David used to live in NJ and did a few of my cars. Boy do I miss him.
He is a great detailer and an awesome guy.

I am a bit of a detail geek and I remember the sticker shock when I was shopping for a detailer. Either pay a top notch detailer what BOB or David charge or do it yourself. The wrong guy can cause you a whole world of hurt. These guys are tops in their craft. Many people can talk the talk but these guys walk the walk. I don't know Bob personally but he is also a skilled detailer and tops in the industry. I have used David personally and he works magic.
For the extra few bucks either of these guys will open your eyes to what is possible.

Bob is without question the best. I had him do my 2013 BMW Grand Coupe. He did what is called a new car detail. It took him 13 hours and the car was brand new. With that said the problem is no matter how great a job can do you are going to be taking your car in a pretty hostile environment. As a result no detail will last more then 8-12 months. So although Bob is going to provide you your money's worth perfection does not come cheap.

My car was detailed a year ago by bob and it looks 99% as good today. I followed Bob's detailed wash and dry technique including the use of a deionizer, and even under the most critical lighting the paint finish is still nearly perfect with no marring or swirls. But if you're going to use a car wash or poor washing / drying technique then you will mar and swirl the finish in a matter of months
Good luck!
