GT2 style plastic spoiler lip for 997TT?

It's $6 at Lowe's or Home Depit.

A storm has hit California and it's been raining the last 2 days. There was a break in the rain for a couple hours. I used this opportunity to pull the car out of the garage so I could see what this thing really looked like. The only place with light at 1am was the gas station.
The lip looks awwwesome! It really completes the front. I probably still need to plastidip it, but I'll do that later. I have a set of OEM GT2 sides that I need to put on. I will leave both of these pieces black. I think they will work well together.
I wish the seams were smooth like oem, but maybe I can have them sanded down and blended. Can a body shop "fill" plastic somehow?
Using my garage driveway incline as measurement, it seems like about 1" of clearance has been eaten up versus the oem lip.
I wish they made a higher quality seamless version of this lip in oem flat black plastic. I'd pay more for it. LOVEEE the way it looks though. It really rounds out the car. Everything still looks totally OEM which is important, but this lip adds a little bit of business to the front end that was lacking before. I've never seen an aero lip on a 997 turbo that was left in black plastic before too. I like it! It gives the turbo just enough of that GT2/GT3 look I think we all like, but not too obnoxious that it interferes with daily driving.
Ok time to sleep.

It's timeframe a new lip on this side. I'll give this one a try. I wonder how the shine will look on a black car? I'm worried about painting these since they sit so low. Maybe paint with a good clear film will help with the rocks

Looks like the same color as OEM to me...MAYBE slightly darker but not enough to notice (or care).

The pics look great!! Really considering ordering one. Can you elaborate on the above two comments?
1) what do you mean by the "seams in being smooth"
2) can you measure the height of the lip vs oem to confirm how much thicker it is? Is it really 1" ?
Thanks
