As far as I know, these lips coming in shinning black color. Do you guys think if the unpainted lip (shinning black) will go with gray exterior color?

 

that is the same thing as the OEM one that you scrape the $@#$@ out of. Its not anything that is different.

 

If you use any vinyl(Armorall) dressing when detailing your car it would look the same also.

 

Been following this thread for a while and finally ordered this piece, which I'll likely have painted. But reviewing the seller's ebay page, the photos of the front lip appear to be the "aero" lip design but the pics of the lip on the grey turbo are definitely the standard stock lip. Let's see what I get LOL!!

Umm. No it isn't. The aero lip has a different design than the standard lip.

 

Aa009.....It's definitely not the standard turbo lip. It's is a direct copy of the Turbo Aerokit Spoiler Lip you can see on Suncoast web site. If you look at drsullivans post #125 you can easily see it against the yellow.

 

Yes that's what I expect to receive. Was just pointing out that the seller doesn't have the right aero lip on the grey car in his photos. But I'm looking forward to getting it painted and mounted. Should look sweet, especially for $200

 

Well the one on the Sellers car shows it to be the stock plastic one.

if you are getting the Aero kit that is good.

mine is still the stock and I am thinking about getting one. But I just want it in black to match side skirt. that's all.

 

Bringing your pics up again, very good shots. I installed mine the fit is very similar. Compared to my factory lip, it doesn't fit flush to the bumper in the front, as shown in these pics. On the sides, I really couldn't get it go in very tight and there is a noticeable ridge. It is not too disturbing though, but it isn't a perfect factory fit either. It's very hard to tell if the tabs are actually all the way in or if they haven't quite "locked" into place. I get the impression the tab locks arent made well enough to really lock properly into place. No matter, it does look quite good.
I coated mine with 4 coats of plasi dip and 2 coats of glossifier. Will post some pics if I get a chance.

 

Got mine attached. As mentioned, the fit wasn't perfect as the sides didn't match for a flush fit on the side and the front has a minor step to it. However, with 4 coats of black plasti dip and 2 coats of glossifier, the finish looks pretty good with my basalt car.

One interesting thing to note is that this lip would not survive too well if you hit a high curb stone. The stock lip would actually fold, while this one looks like it is just going to rip off!

Gotta say that the style is really cool though; really like it. I like how the gloss effect turned out on my car. It doesn't seem to be any lower than the stock lip - I haven't had any issues on my driveway.

 

Here is mine with a couple of coats of plasti dip. I have ordered a second that is going to be painted body color along with some GT2 side skirts
