ok finally a pic of the lip painted and installed. agree with everyone else here, best $200 mod, but like I said earlier you gotta paint it or get it to a matte finish. out of the box the shiny vinyl finish looks cheap IMO

What did you paint it with? I did the plasti dip and it is not a good idea for this part. If you happen to rub it or brush along the lip, the dip can start to peal.

I did the plasti-dip and has worked great so far. There's definite peeling under the lip but as long as I pull off the bits in the opposite direction, it hasn't affected the front of the lip where it's visible. I am curious though, without primer, could you just take a can of flat black paint and just spray the paint on (just like you do with plasti-dip)?

I finally installed my lip this week & had it painted body color with clear bra installed on it ,i can tell you that i had the OEM aero lip on before this, until i lost it at the track(don't ask ) & i can't tell the difference between the two.Of course it compliments my aero kit wing perfectly. These seem to look great...So I just ordered one. Plan to paint Basalt Black Met. to match my car and clear the heck out of it too...I noticed right after I bought mine...The price went up $20 ? Interesting how the supply and demand curves and price intersections (equillibrium) work just as you learned in economics class

When I get mine done, I will post pictures also...Hope it looks as good as you guys who have posted pics...Awesome looking cars!

With the theme you have going on, I would have kept it black for a more aggressive look. Looks nice painted too

Looks awesome! May I ask if you are using oem cf front fenders? Where did you source them?

Yes OEM cf fenders & i got lucky they where on Ebay for cheap already painted Gt silver.

I like things to look Oem & this lip would only come in painted body color from factory ,i did have the stock lip in black while waiting for this to come in & really changes the look ,especially on light colored cars .Once you paint the lip it just looks lower.

Car looks great. I love the way it sits. What size wheels and offset? And/or suspension changes if any?

Thanks...
