Ten years ago, I'd change the wheels, lower it, get a louder exhaust, etc. but I'm older and wiser and I want to protect this investment by enjoying it exactly as it came from the factory (although, admittedly, it does have an aftermarket exhaust). In fact, 12 years ago I had Ben Bermudez of Wheels Boutique modify my 2011 R8 V10 Spyder 6-speed with new, custom painted rims, new coil springs to lower it, and even redid the seat centers with red stitched diamond quilting. But this baby I am going to try to preserve as best I can and keep her as pristine as possible while still driving and enjoying her. Is Ben still around?

It's called "Natural Brown" but it's certainly not brown. More of a cognac. It was one of the optional, full natural leather interiors. Feels amazing to sit on! Very nice leather.
I have owned this dream car of mine for about 5 years and I still have not changed anything. Every time that I look at it or drive it...I am amazed at the perfection of it. I can't imagine that anything that I would do could really improve this beast. I love everything about it.

Coming up on three years that I have owned my dream GT Silver on black 997.2 TT 6MT. It is like no other car I have ever driven or ridden in, such an incredible mix of luxury and brute power. I had a 991.1 C2S PDX and sold it to get this and I feel like the 997 size, format and driving dynamics are just perfect.
