Yes, just picked up a GT-R a couple of weeks ago.
Let me say this, GT-R wasn't a replacement for 997TT it was a replacement for my 2011 EVO X MR (SST double clutch) which I sold a couple of months ago
My plan for my next 997 will be over 600+ whp/tq.

As a direct dealer for COBB it is nice to see expansion into the P-car world.

is ATR planned for the P-car platform? Will it be an extra charge or free like other platforms?

At this time ATR is not planned. It may be available but we are going to wait a little bit with the Porsche platform before we release it, if we do at all.

Im naturally curious what makes this cost 2500$ for the 997TT vs 950$ for the GTR and its "unhackable ECU" ?

I know you already know the answer, but just encase you forgot, I am going to go out on a very, very small limb and say it is the same reason as many other products/tunes:

$ 950.00 Cost of the product (shipping not included)
$1 550.00 P.S.T tax (I am not talking about Provincial sales tax in Canada)
$2 500.00 TOTAL (excluding sales tax/shipping)

Sometimes, after awhile you just go with the flow and give up...Truly, "Porsche there is no substitute", is true, as it seems like tuners know that and know we are not going to jump to another platform I guess

I hear you, I have paid AMG tax which I think was even worse back in the day. With that said GTRs and 997.1tts cost about the same now-a-days.

BMW 335 is another example 895$ for a much more complex ECU. I realize that is a bit bigger market.

Im curious what the manufacturer has to say as to why 997.1 COBB cost 1600$ more than GTR or BMW unit. Besides "Ummm you guys are ballers you can swing it".
