Your boost is around 19psi webcar.

That is typically about what the cars run on OTS maps.

FVD programs their boost to 1.4 bar (~21 psi).

Does the version of the software monitor knock. This will be necessary for tuning.

You mean it monitors each cylinder separately for knock.

If you guys released NLS/2step and ATR, coupled with the already lowered price point, you guys would seriously flip the porsche tuning scene on its belly!

Release ATR with no support and offer support for an added cost (e.g. 1 year support maintenance for $XXX)

Mitch,

Can the AP display the output of each of the 6 pre knock sensors so we can monitor our tune in real time?

I have an OTS tune from a VERY well known tuner and I asked a custom tuner to take a look at it, and the comment back to me was that the tune had most of the safety features switched off and was relying on maximum knock retard to protect my engine. I was also experiencing jerking when I put my foot down as the boost was building. I am a little weary of OTS tunes as a result. Does your tune leave ALL the engine protection features intact???

What is the process of obtaining a custom tune all the way from Australia? If I make bolt on upgrades in the future, let's say a new plenum, will I need a retune? If you make updates to the OTS tunes will customers receive the updates for free?

The AP monitors all 6cyl and logging with the AP is simple (very).

Everytime you hock the AP up with your computer it checks for updates for firmware and OTS maps.

Hey Drvik,

Yes we have seen this in some of this before in the Porsche tuning unfortunately.

We do not change any of the engine protection features. We raise some limits but knock sensors are left stock, amount of timing pulled is left stock.

The nice thing about our software is that since we leave our OTS tunes unlocked to tuners they will tell you the same thing. We are very transparent about our info and I will happily tell you anything that you would like to know about changes made in our software. I think the dark ages of Porsche tuning are coming to an end.

For new maps and such as far away as you are all you need to do is email and you will have a new map almost instantly. I am usually pretty quick to get back to customers.

All of our OTS updates are free. All of our custom features that get added are free. You never have to pay for these updates, and we are constantly adding new features and OTS maps.

I hope that helps, if you have any other questions please feel free to email me!

Hi Mitch,

I have 2011 997.2 TTS.

It has Kline exhaust system and others are pretty much stock car.

How much is your Cobb tune for my car? would you pm me since I cannot pm due to number of post? I am very new to this so you need to help me out to the right direction.

I only have 91fuel in S. Cali. If I bring my car to your shop in S. Cali, would you install the tune ?

thanks
