can i ask a silly question? so many folks talk about were and how fast the big turbos spool. i have 3071 tial turbos upgrading from my oem k24 turbos. i can hear them whistle at idle and it seems they pull almost immediately. with the power i have ( most i ever had) were should the power be coming in rpm wise? 2500 3500 4500 i never could get a straight answer or is it different for every car?

If it's a stock block and e85 or ms109 I would guess 42-4500 rpms is where they will hit hard. My e911 kit would hit hard at 4500, which is a gt30 turbo with e85. If you are a built motor it would hit harder sooner as the torque can get brought in right away.

I have the same turbos and I really can't answer that.
As soon I go full throttle, the turbos will start spooling, almost immediately, but peak boost depends on what gear and rpm I start pulling and the amount of boost I have setup.

I never felt the boost hitting hard at any rpm, it's very progressive, starts spooling early and fast. I want to believe it reaches peak boost, even at 1.65bar, sooner than 4500rpm's but never checked that... anyway, your turbo is slightly different than mine.

I only feel a hit of the boost if I brake boost and when I do, it will reach peak boost very fast... now that I think of it... probably not a good idea for my stock block

I rarely used my anti-lag because it's very hard on the turbos. I never needed it. I rather burn brakes then turbos. I'm not exactly sure how laggy my new set up will be. I'll def post lots of vids and vbox times as soon as I get the car back and I get used to it.

I'm going to attempt a 60-130 with anti-lag a couple times though to see if I can do a pull without shifting.

@MegioN, what is your current power goal? You're running a 3.8L correct? Is the car still AWD?
