If your car is a .1, you can do the throttle body adaptation yourself.

If it's a .2, you'll need someone with a PIWIS (dealer).

Here's the steps:
  1. Open the driver's door and rear decklid.
  2. Turn the ignition to the "on" position.
  3. Leave the driver's door open (important).
  4. With the door open and the ignition on, go to the back of the car and listen carefully after about 30 seconds. After that time passes, you should here a few distinct "clicks". That means the process was successful.
If you don't hear those distinct clicks, you could have a faulty throttle body.

It resets the relationship between the % you push the gas pedal to the % that the throttle opens. Sometimes, for a lot of different reasons, that ratio of pedal/throttle goes out of whack. The adaptation process just sort of resets it.

I have a 2011 turbo s. I think im having throttle body issues as well. I had a COBB tune installed but went back to stock. The car was fine for months then out of nowhere started throwing p0068 codes. The codes are for map throttle body correlation. I really don't know where to start to try to fix this issue. If you guys have any ideas id love to hear them. Thanks
