Which Part?

Hello everyone!

I just scooped up my 997 turbo and the prior owner lowered the windows a lot (or had wicked nails).

Which part is this and where should I get a replacement?

that faux finish is apparently easy enough to re-paint. Seriously. Look for threads on interior scratch, scuff marks. The replacement trim is pretty cheap, but it's a PITA to install, and costly if you have a dealer do it. Good luck.

"Trim spear" is the common reference to that part.

Ebay has lots and some carbon which is very nice. You could also try bumperplugs.com.

It's a door finsher, I replaced mine on my Cayman a few years ago with a body-colored one from bumperplugs. It was a fairly easy DIY (with instructions I found online) but did require a little drilling out of the old plastic "rivets" on the old one in order to put the new one on..
