It really seems that the 997.2 platform is picking up some steam, as 138+ is movin out!


I truly wonder what a 6speed on this platform would run comparably, E.T. and mph differences vs PDK?

EFR7163 are similar to GTX3076

I did 10.12 @ 145.6mph with 6mt according to my Gtech - 997.1 of course, but gives you an idea.

Need that PDK upgrade pack to make it to production.

Also, not many DFI 3.8L 997.2 on manual. They're out there, but I've never seen one modded.

You know what's funny, we had one out there with us. Black 2012 six speed! Super rare and we did a 68mm billet upgrade with bolt on's. Only made it through 91 pump gas tuning and it had street tires but it was strong. Couldn't get into the 10's.

Dude your built is SOLID, but was wondering with the 3.8 997.2 set up how much less time and mph they trap without the PDK.

With the setup you've got, you should be crushing Efi's times once you get back to Atco for sure!! Good stuff man, glad to see it all came together!

Thanks Tom, different approach obviously but I wanted some flexibility and had a personal goal of being the fastest. It's cool to even join the elite ranks of only 2 other 997.2s ever to break into the 9s!
Plus, I knew sooner or later Adam was going to throw 68s on his car and get even faster soooo I went big lol

Nice! I got a couple vids but they didn't capture that, only the exhaust. Can't wait to hear it in person and **** my neighbors off. A few have Ferraris and try to be loud without having to rev to 9k

If you think Englishtown shut you down before (when you were in the 10.2s, forget about running there now without full hardware)! LOL

Haha, yeah I am seriously out of my mind waiting. My son had a virus and was in the hospital right before the event so couldn't go (he's all good now)


The worst part is when it does come back it will likely be in the dead of winter and prob snowing so I have to wait until spring regardless arrrgghhh
