Thinking of trading my 991 C2S for 997.1 Turbo
#17
My car is manual but I totally get you, I'll hold out for manual turbo. I drove the tiptronic and it was, how do the kids say it? "not tight"

Thanks for all the responses, I think I am going to pass based on what I'm reading. I was ready to jump simply because it checked 3/4 boxes (sport chrono, sport plus seating, PCCB, and manual being the four) but that fourth box is a big one.
I really wouldn't mind a 997.2 PDK but the price jumps exponentially and at that point I'd rather a GT4.

Gt4s are at a premium now, over 100k. That is a very limited market car, so it will remain to be seen how many real buyers there are after the flipping is over.

Was in the same boat prior to buying my 991c2S. I ended up cross shopping it with a 997.1 turbo. Then reality sunk in. With the 997, I would be paying for a car that was 8 years old and had roughly 30-50k miles. For the same price, I was able to get a nicely optioned 2 year old 991. Aesthetically speaking, both cars were the same in my book-simply gorgeous in their own right. The interior of the 991 felt all business and it was special. Finally, the power delivery and the PDK were what sold me on the 991.
