You may have simply had a bit of air in the system that burped out.

I'd fill it to between min and max and see what happens.

If it continually keeps dropping, you will want to check the coolant fittings, water pump, and front radiators for leaks. If nothing there, then you'll need to have a closer look at all the hoses, lines, etc.

i will note, however, that some 7.1 cars seem to like to run close to the minimum line. If the level doesn't drop below that, you may just have one of those cars.

Hard for me to tell since I don't know what your level reads, but I'd plan on at least one liter.

obviously you'll want to combine coolant and distilled water in the percentage appropriate for your region.

You could also try pressure testing the system. There could be a slight leak that isn't getting to the ground yet. Better to find it at home rather than out on a long drive.

agree. pinhole leak at one or more rad. but one is more common. w/out pulling bumpers ou might be able to even sniff test. if youy smell "sweet": coolant, there's your "leak" assuming you have one.

alternately a hairline crack in your expansion tank. look for any white residue.. it'd be near or on top of your motor mounts and the tank itself might be yellowed. if so, simple replacement.

always fill with vw/audi/porsche "G13" pink coolant. you need to 50/50 it.
