Rough, sorry to hear that. I guess you were the guy over the pond that also had the fueling solution. Must be making some serious power to bend a rod! She's going to be a monster with a built motor

I ran a fairly conservative tune at Shift Sector. Less boost than I was running with the 9-second file yet it still made more power, as my results showed. I can't even imagine how fast it would be with the 9-second file loaded up.

There are a lot of safeties built in with the stock fuel system. Once it's modified, all hell can break loose even with the stock turbos. So care must be taken.

So sorry to hear that your motor bent a rod. You must have been making a crazy amount of torque. Just imagine how insanely fast it will be with stronger rods/pistons and bigger turbos! Best of luck with your build. Not sure if anyone in the UK has done this yet. Champion and BBI could be very good resources since they have cracked open the 3.8 DI motor and the PDK already.

Just literally got my car back a couple hours ago. Holy mf'er. I had to open the frunk to see if they stuffed another motor in there. Fastest car I've ever been in.

Yessir. Kind of uncharted waters a few of us are in with the additional fuel and big power. Stock turbos or not, it's a game of roulette and big torque hitting down low could break things.

Yeah, I actually turned it down a notch when I got home after my initial drive. Last thing I want to do is a motor build and be without the car for another 9 months and this thread was an eye opener. Going to just enjoy it dialed down a notch until I get bored of it and feel like spending a bunch of money and time to build it mo' bigga, if I even get to that point.
