Opinions on cars value... Turbo S
I'm considering selling my car to purchase a different car... I'd like any and all opinions regarding THIS cars value? Obviously this is not an exact science, and the value could change slightly, but it's just a best guess I'm looking for. Ok the car... 2011 Turbo S.
Meteor Gray/ Carrera Red interior
full frontal expel
centerlocks
Forgeline GT1's with MPSS tires
Cobb custom tune... 540awhp 636 Lbs/ft torque
Europipe catted exhaust
both sets of wheels, factory RS Spyders and Forgelines
18,300 miles
heated/ cooled seats (comfort seats)
I've taken the car to a couple of dealers that specialize in these cars... wow did they low ball the offer. I was actually surprised how low a number they offered. That's why I'm gathering opinions to see if I'm the crazy one here? Thanks to anyone who offers their price valuation on my car.

The easiest thing to do would be to check autotrader or a similar site to see what other like Turbo S in the region are listed at. That should give you an idea of where the market is at. You could also put it for sale on one of those sites for what you think its worth and if it doesn't sell start dropping the price until it does.

Dealers are always going to low ball you. I'm surprised you got offered 86k from a dealer. You are always better off doing a private sale imo.

I agree, 86k from a dealer is pretty strong. I was looking for one of these two months ago, and they seemed to be selling in the low 90's. Sad to say - but the mods will only hurt the value of the car, unless you private party it to the right buyer.

I also think 86k from a dealer is very strong while 70k is definitely a lowball.
Also when trading in you have the tax credit on $86,000 as well which is worth another $6,900 where I live.

Expect a low-ball offer from a dealer, it's how they make money. At your mileage, <20K your call should sell for $100K-$105K...meaning the dealer should offer you ~$90K for it (if its in pristine condition).
I would return the car back to stock (in your case stock exhaust & wheels etc...if possible flash the car back to stock ECU tune...not that the dealer will notice that).

The problem with the .2 Turbos is that most Turbo buyers want the latest and greatest. The 991.1 turbos are knocking on 100 grand with some miles and for many shoppers offer more of what they are looking for. Regardless you have an excellent car. What are you thinking of replacing it with?

In my experience, it is useless talking to a Porsche dealer about trading in a used Porsche unless you simply do not have the time to sell your vehicle privately and don't care about losing money. Their offers are offensively low. I tried 3 or 4 dealerships with a previous non turbo 997.2 that I owned and they all offered peanuts. I sold the car in 2 days on the private market several grand above the highest offer I received.
I've traded and sold many vehicles over the years, and personally have found Porsche dealers to be the stingiest with their offers by far.

Definitely low ball offers. I just bought a 997.2 for high 80s with barely 20K miles and fully optioned. You should be able to get a much higher value, but patience is key and probably must wait for the right buyer. I was looking for a while.
