Nobody is going to complain about them for $35k. A street race will only last up to 35-45mph enough for them to win against most RWD cars. The 911 Turbo does what they do best but goes beyond those speed limits!

The 997 Turbo will appeal to WAY more potential buyers than the 997 GT3 will - especially in the U.S. where for a majority of people it's about a car being more "GT'ish" than about a car being more "sport car".
There is a reason Porsche has made the 997 Turbo softer around the edges than the GT3...it appeals to a broader section of people.
