Anyone have info on CEL P3008?

I searched and only found 1 thread related to camshaft sensor. Can anyone confirm if that is the correct fix?

Cam codes...

You may have already explored the code, but may be worth reading up on the slipping cam sleeves issue that can show up with cam sensor, solenoid, or timing too advanced codes. Some techs will want to replace sensors or solenoids, but those may be symptomatic of a cam shaft sleeve slipping. If you have that issue, pin both cam shaft sleeves.

This thread sounds like a possibility:

Camshaft Sensor CEL

However I cold not find that code on any list. What are you using to pull codes?
