someone else probably knows for sure, but i have always read that Ruf got "bodies in white" from Porsche, meaning that the cars are not painted, just primed. no VIN numbers yet too.

all painting and assembly actually takes place at Pfaffenhausen (and now i suppose, or at Bahrain )

yup!

AWD, ohlins all around w/ the hydraulic height adjust on all 4 corners. 380mm Ruf brakes (steel because the new PCCB's aren't available yet), 6speed, roll-cage, GT3 seats, black leather interior w/ white accents on selected exposed hard surfaces in the cabin (transmission tunnel, A/C vents, satnav surround, etc.), carbon fiber doors & trunklid, OZ superleggera 3's with 355-series rubber out back.

ok, so 355 tires are a bit OTT... but what the hell, you only live once!

thank you! the car will be WHITE. i wanted a sort of cup-car "look", after having seen pictures of a white 997 GT3 cup.

is that your CGT in your avatar? i've ridden in a friend's CGT (the only one in the country currently,) and i have to say it simply took my breath away.

the RT12 is, after all is said and done, still a 911.
