You got it backwards buddy........I don't know about New York specifically but bring in an 82 Latour or Petrus and watch how much respect you get from the sommelier.......and the manager.....and the GM........buying your fine wines at the restaurant is like buying your groceries at the 7/11.....I buy my wines at auction and pay 50% or less of what the restaurants charge......I could care less what anyone thinks at a nice place when I just saved $500 or more by bringing my own wine.....hell, it was a sommelier I dated that turned me onto fine wines....
Next time you're in a REALLY nice restaurant.....ask the sommelier where he buys HIS wine.....I Guarantee it's not from a restaurant!

Thanks everyone for the nice response on the new whip on the way. Spoke to the driver from Horseless Carriage and as of 2pm NY time he was in Tennesse and on his way to pick up something else and then its to the traffic on Long Island.. I am so excited and it feels like it did when my first turbo was on its way..
