Their both amazing cars, but I like porsche. The Zo6 is a bigger car and thats the reason I like porsche, compact lol. By the way what ever happen to this race that started this whole thread? Who won? Has this race even taken place yet?

You are arguing over the fact that the Corvette( probably the best car we can produce here in the US ) with a SEVEN LITER V-8 engine ,
MAY,POSSIBLY,PERHAPS, beat a car of equal weight and an engine barely HALF it's size .
And then only by a hair , in a DRAG type race , down a straight line .

Personally, I would do more than I would like to admit for either of these cars.
As to who will win; like Craig said, both, depending on the day and the driver.
What you would rather drive never really enters the picture. I prefer the TT just as I prefer most things Porsche. I mean hell, I would rather have the TT over an f430.

This is interesting, I have been thinking about getting the new ZO6 because I want a car I can drive 800 miles to a race track and not worry about the cost of those miles. I think the ZO6 is a great car and I like the way it looks as well. The porsche interior puts the ZO6 to shame though.
Anyways I would both cars are even and it will depend on the driver.
I do think that about every single person on this forum could post a faster lap time in the 997TT then in the ZO6 because they are soooo much easier to drive. I was passing vipers with R-compund tires at my first DE just because my 996TT is soooo easy to drive on the edge.
If any of the ZO6 owners have tracked there car, what did you guys think? Any mods that are a necessity to do so? How did the brakes hold up after multiple laps?
thanks

From a roll, I'll pick the Z06 everytime unless the driver messes up. From a stop, it could go either way, depending on the launching ability of the Z06 driver.
That said...and as much as I totally respect the Z06 for it's performance/price ratio...I wouldn't consider purchasing one over a 997TT.
