Anyway, I really like videos of nice Porsches, so if we can see a M6 vs 997 Turbo video no one would be happier than me.
FYI anyone know a 997 Turbo. I have an airfield event upcoming soon We are talknign Corvette Z06 vs tuned 550 HP Kelleners Sport M5. I guess that will be a a difficult match as well

Oh, another thing, we all know the M5 and M6 are awesome cars. However, with the 997 turbo being as fresh as it is EVERY comparison published or made so far has to be taken with a grain of salt. Another thing, you are always way too quick to create controvery such as when you made a thread everywhere about the M5 actually having 530 hp based on corrected numbers from supersprint. In reality, the car was putting down 415 wheel which put it right at that 500 crank figure but you didn't even look over the numbers you were just interested in generating publicity.... eerily similar situation now but this story is beyond worthless.

Well, if you do not trust anyone on m5board / m6board than I cannot do anything. There was doubters on the BMW M6 vs 911 Turbo 996 as well.
I agree that it is not confirmed, and if people dont want me to post about that I'll simply stop no big deal.
Anyway, you are welcome whenever you have a M5 or M6 video, that is pure entertainment

Either way, by me responding to this thread you are winning anyway as all it does is create more advertisement for M5 board which is your goal anyway. If it wasn't, you would let someone else bring the story or link to our attention. However, no one else would because that story doesn't prove ANYTHING.

Well, no. I beleive the story and it would be great to get it confirmed in someway. But if you guys aren't interested how the 997 Turbo does against V-10 M cars, then Ill leave. no problems.

Keep trying to save face whatever way you can though, you and I know what is really going on.

Thanks, finally a post on the topic.
YES, that do sound credible to me. Here is the 0911 Turbo X50 996 racing a BMW M5. I am driving the M5. But M5 is a bit slower and this particular X50 had soem Techart things as well.
However I think it might have a chance even over 240 km/h, but that is another story.

He also raced a modified M6, which stayed with him all the way to 310 km/h, but couldn´t overtake him. Pretty impressive for a BMW.

Who cares about what looks good or doesn't. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Funny how some people's lame excuse to make their car better is going via the subjective route.
SMG's super quick shifts per the M6 guy's post... WHAHAH since when did the SMG shift so much faster than a manual that it makes a dent in straight line performance? What does it add some magic hp to it as well? Every test v. a manual the manual wins out even with the xxx millisecond shifts. it's more for control and one less thing to worry about... not a direct input resulting in speed.
Now DSG, maybe, but that sucker's only available on low end VWs right now.
997TT is gangsta. Love it. M6 is gangsta in its gt coupe way. both are legit sweet rides that go like stink.
but i like apples a lot more than carrots so 997TT for the win in every performance category. no doubt about it.
