Yes, I got an update from Wayne at Ruf. He spoke with the manufacturer and they said they don't have these seats for the 997TT, only for the CaymanRK. They are basically one offs and I assume they could do it but it would take forever. He said that they are working on some upgraded seats for the 997TT that will be more in line with the stock seats. (Fall timeframe).

I think I will have to call the manufacturer directly to get more specifics.

i don't know why it wouldn't work (I know, double negative)....you could probably fab up something with custom mounts.

How do you know Ferrari has Sparcos? I don't see any seats in the Sparco line that looks like the Ferrari racing seats.

Sparco custom made the seats that went into the Enzo, and thus the MC12 (just different material), it's not a seat they sell on their regular production line. I believe a guy in SoCal that either worked for Sparco or was a project car by Sparco had the prototype version of those seats put into his Lancer Evo VIII.

Notice the black handle thing on the seat bolster. I've never been in an Enzo so I don't know what it does. The recliner maybe?

And lastly, the EVO interior. The only difference in these seats are the harness belt slots, they are not the same shape that went into the final Enzo and MC12 seats, and probably the leather material, but otherwise these seats were the prototype carbon fiber seats for those cars. Pretty cool. Again, notice the black handle on the bolster.

These seats from Toora look a bit similar in the shape of the shoulder and side bolsters, but is not the same seat.

Since they have the mold made for the seats I wonder if they would consider making more.

You are correct. Sparco made all the Enzo seats...plus one special extra pair that went into the Sparco EVO project car. Sparco has a similar carbon shell seat called the Modena that can be special ordered. Call Sparco USA and tell them that Scott told you about these seats. They are not in the regular Sparco product range, so you will have to be persistant. Good luck.

Scott, I was just about to chime in and post pics from your Evo being built.

Still hanging on for that GT-R?
