Furthermore, the engine of the SL65 is mounted in the front, and with all that weight so far up, the car will definately oversteer in the corners. and in the straightline, i seriously doubt the 997 turbo would be able to keep up with the SL65....sorry, but the SL65 can blow by the 1/4 mark at 11s, and thats bone stock..
up at higher speeds, the SL65 would dominate even more because of its large displacement engine and the extra 6 cylinders....but high speed stability is another thing.

with the limiter removed, the SL65 can easily go beyond 200mph, but the 997 turbo, although with its amazing aerodynamics and TT engine, still cant break the 200 barrier yet..

How about $190,000.00 to start. Look at their ring lap times. They handle very well for a two ton+ beast. Take the AMG Challenge someday. You will be very suprised with how some of them handle. The SLs have an active suspension. They ride very smooth and corner very flat, even at the limits.
