Whats the drivability on the 862HP turbo?

Right now I probably have under 600HP. Gimme 150HP more , and I'll trade him a new website

Thanks Raudel. Do you know if Protosport is affiliated or a vendor of Protomotive? I was thinking of sending my ecu to Todd but now that you mention this, I may have a better option to getting this program installed. Thanks

Installing the ecu is a 10 minute job... the advantage in your case would be that they actually make sure everything is OK....

That dyno sheet is of VRAlexander's Turbo. Engine dyno number.

Hi Joe,
The only public dyno sheet is on Protomotive.com and it only takes the car to 1.3bar (as per my request)...this is also an engine dyno... I do ALOT of street racing and I do not wish to have my car numbers known on the Internet at this time....I will try to make your December 2nd event as long as I can run a "no-time display" run at the track...
I have run the car on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno with full boost and at a medium 1.5bar it laid down 915hp at the wheels....This tells me two things...either Todds Dyno is very conservative or the Dyno Dynamics dyno I used is very optimistic...Since I have not verified the power at the wheels on another Dyno I will not post that sheet until I verify the output of the car on at least one more Dyno..I am shure you can understand my position on this...also if you want to run against my turbo on the street with ANY 996tt/GT-2 you have in mind (we have been down thins road before my friend), I will be at the house in Vegas for the next two weeks...

Thanks for your understanding...

Protomotive's site lists them as a distributor.

It seems that Protomotive shoudl sponsor this forum. They obviously have great products and services. Even if they get one extra job per year....

They're a Protomotive dealer. They don't sell anyone else's tuniing. I would recommend you go thru them rather than doing it yourself because they test and tune the car. It's a piece of mind that I think is well worth it.

That pretty much confirms what my butt-dyno has told me -- the 997TT is already *faster* from a roll than my RENNtech SL65. Gad.

hey BEN...how much faster would you say your car is now with the new ECU program? would it easily walk away from a stock 997tt?
