Also, I am not gonna be racing to 186 mph anytime soon. I live in the US, not Germany. And, lets say I did race to 186 mph and the TT was ahead (Which it wouldn't be), then I might as well race to top speed where I will surpass the Porsche when it tops out at 193 mph while I keep on going to near 200. So, in the end, no matter how you look at it, the Z06 is the faster car..
Why is all this so important to you?

I don't know where you go track your car, but I don't do it on bumpy roads and bumpy tracks. I do it on race tracks with "normal" pavements where I surpass 997 TT's on my stock runflats..

Oh, and wasn't it the C6 Z06 that surpassed the 996 GT2 on Hockenheim course?

1:11.5 for the Z06
1:11.6 for the GT2

Oh, and that was on runflats, too..

Oh well, better wait for the 997 GT2, hopefully that will do better. Oh wait, GM is coming out with the Stingray. Ooops, GM did it again!!...

Who cares if the Vette is quicker, it should be. It has a monster V8 and it's lighter than the flat 6 turbo of the Porschesimple physics

The Vette is quick, however, I was quicker by quite abit

That is our 'old' generagtion GT2. this is what you vette guys do, your new car can barely beat and most times DOES NOT beat our old technology. its funny because again, the GT2 weighs about 200 lbs more, and has about 50 less hp. how fast did the old z06 run on hockenheim, 1:15? i can guarantee nowhere near as fast as the GT2. compare apples to apples. maybe we could compare the 930 turbo to the z06, i bet you still wouldnt win that one.
So take your tonka made car and leave this forum.

Actually they are holding production because of the 31% total rate on all of the Z06's produced, crazy!

you think you car is so fast and so great. meet up with some of the guys here who drive 996TT's one day and see what his 996TT does to your z06. id wouldnt be surprised if you car fell into pieces as their cars blow by yours and then you realize just how 'fast' you think your car is.

Actually, a 996 GT2 is only 60 lbs heavier than a C5 Z06. And as far as the C6 Z06, it can handle just as well, if not better than the 997 TT WITH THE RUNFLATS.

But I know you don't know much about cars, so I forgive you. Afterall, you do drive a C4..

I would love to meet up with a stock 997 TT (Not a 996 TT, I will leave them for the C5 Z06's) and get a few runs in just to show some of you people what a 127 mph trap car will do to a 122 mph trap car in a race.

Again, if anyone with a stock 997 TT is up for some runs, I will be more than happy to meet and get a few runs in on tape.
