Inden Design has had a few 20" BBS Applications that were "unavailable" including a 20" BBS Racing wheel (pictured here on a CLS) for awhile- my understanding is that traditionally they would receive them from BBS blank and would drill the preferred boltpattern accordingly. The same would go for any 20" that needed a Porsche BP or offset....

"Looks" probably ILL. Actually the 20's don't look that bad (even though I have 18's and love the performance, they look a little small and puny on the car).

This maybe the best balance of bling and performance wheels for 997TTs.

True, BUT i think 19's are the max for a wheel of this kind. Its like taking something pure and purpose built and turning it into something its not, and that's "bling"

Had some 21" RXII's on the old POS 745i. Fine on a large car, pure show. I cringe when I see 20's on 997's - but thats just me. They do look nice though.

So did we all miss something here?
You haven't missed anything Fabryce -

I sent this to my contact at BBS USA and he confirmed the same. This wheel is still in development and won't be available until at least the spring - to anyone.

These pictures were taken from a guy in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1>Germany </st1></st1:country-region>involved with the testing and put up here.<o></o>

Gert,

Are these wheels (20s) available to be shipped immediately or only in the spring like Damon and Fabryce implied?

These wheels are available in all sizes between 8 and 12"
and we can have these assembled to match the factory sizes and offsets
so they can be installed on the 997Turbo or 997GT3 without the use of spacers.

For more info, check out our website.
Wheel weights will be added soon.

Gert.
Very nice! Will you have a CGT application?

looks like the face of the 18" and 19" are the same size but the barrel of the wheel gets bigger.... am i right? do they have a bigger face for the 19"? I love the look of the 20" but dont want to run 20's on my 996 turbo.

Thanks,

David

The 18 and 19" BBS racing wheels use the same wheel center.
The 20" wheels use a bigger wheel center.
