Red Ruf RT12

thanks for the kind words guys
i remember this car. it was at Pfaffenhausen when I was there. its another example of how each RT12 (and indeed, each Ruf) tends to reflect the particular choices and preferences of the owners.
this red car is unique in a number of ways. for one, the rear blade can actually be raised and lowered, much like on a 996/997 Turbo. as of last September when I saw the car, this was the only RT12 with that feature. the owner apparently wanted the ability to raise and lower the wing, so there you go. also, the lower portion of the wing, which is also carbon fiber, is only partially painted. so the "edges" are in bare CF, hence they are black.
there's also tons of CF on the interior, including the steering wheel. deviated red stitching everywhere too. personally, i've grown a little tired of too much exposed carbon fiber, but that's really just me. i realize many other people like that look, and we do whatever makes us happy with our own cars
so far the most distinctive RT12's i've seen are Leon's, and "The Grey Fox", which is the name given by one owner to his Maserati Grey RT12, with grey and red interior. i think I posted pics of this car before. pictures don't do the Grey paint justice though, as it really is very classy and special. it even has a very tiny metal plaque inside the car, with "The Grey Fox" engraved on it. its a tiptronic too, IIRC...
cheers all, and Happy Holidays!

Pure sex on 4 wheels is what Ruf builds there is no doubt. Hesperus, Leon or anyone who has these beast is a lucky man.
Me I would have to say the red one looks awesome, but make mine a RWD only version please.
