At the risk of being flagged a newbie (or worse), does the SSK require a change to the part of the shifter/**** that you see/touch? I paid extra for the cool looking (IMO) shifter, and would hate to waste money on it if not compatible with SSK.

Nope...you'd continue to use your shift ****. The SSK is all underneath.

I ordered mine in late May in GT silver originally but after I got back from my Austria trip (test driving the Turbo) I changed mine to Cobalt blue then over the next few days after that I made additional changes. My production date which initially was 8/01/06 got bumped to 10/26/06 before eventually being built on 9/15/06. Really frustrating for me to see that "bump" happen.
Wow! That sucks. I was on the fence about PCCB's but this will make my decision easier.

When I ordered my ssk, my status was 'acpord', changed the next day to 'mfgcnf', production number assigned. Too late to change anything now!

Chris, as you know we're at the same stage. I checked with my dealer yesterday and they said no delay if I wanted to add PCCB's. I told him to check and if they would delay forget about it.

They already have a est section 8 date for me as April 10!!!!!!!!!!!!
They told me no changes at all from here on.
