Sliding while Cornering

Today for the first time the tires spun and the car slid (unintentionally) while cornering on three occasions.

Each time I was turning pretty slowly.

In second gear.

Temperature 80 degrees and Road Dry.

Stock Tires.

Stage III System (GIAC, Headers, FS Exhaust).

PSM on.

I was accelerating, but definitely not punching it.

Anyone else experience anything similar??
While stock I could really gun it around a corner without problems.
I have a hard time believing the extra 120 hp or so is responsible for freeing up the tires and sliding.

mishref is infamous around these parts
My car usually slides due to this:

1. Something on the road.
2. Worn out tires.
3. Cold Tires.
4. PSM off + pushing it

Been stuck to the road since I got it...even in snowy, icy conditions...

Used to happen to me in my old car when the tires were going a little bald...which happened pretty damn fast.

how did you approach the turn? were u still braking after turn in? if you were braking while turning in, alot of the weight is pushed forward and off the rear wheels, that coupled with an extra 120 horsepower is sure to cause the wheels to spin a bit

even with that aside the extra 120 hp will def help with traction loss

No suspension mods.

Yes, I was braking going into the corner.

I was permanently stuck to the asphalt (pre-mod).

even with my C4S which only has 355hp, the tires do break loose at corners if I punch it..
