Install Adaptive Sports Seats

Install Adaptive Sports Seats
I didn't get the sports seats. I want to track the car but there is no place to put the two upper belts of a 5 point restraint. I don't feel safe without 5 point belts. I drive the car every day and don't want to put in racing seats.
Two questions.
Are there holes in the backs of the adaptive seats to put the belts through?
Any idea if the adaptive seats can be retrofitted into the 997TT? What is the cost?
Thank you, vincy

There are no holes on the adaptive seats for those seatbelts. Only the bucket seats have those holes.
I would think that the cost for retrofitting those adaptive seats would be cost prohibitive. You might be better off getting those bucket racing seats instead.

If you don't have a full roll bar or cage, you should not be using a 5 or 6 point harness. This is not safe, in a roll over you can be pinned to the seat as the roof caves in, whereas the std 3 point belts will give way. Unless you use the harness with a roll bar and racing seat the std 3 point belt is safer. Don't even think about a harness bar.
