The TT had cups, the z06 street tires. The z06 is qiucker around the track, sad but true. But which would you rather have?
Atomic, the pde is great(done it), but you gotta get your car out there on your local track to really work it.

I agree, seat time is the best teacher (for someone who is already pretty confident) and to be honest I think it's pretty awesome for a 3400+ lbs car to be mentioned in the same breath when it comes to track speed as a 3100 lb car with more power, similar breaking and probably better handling. This probably means that the avg joe (if he has sports cups on the turbo) can show up at the track and beat the majority of Z06's (awd is champ for novice drivers). To ask anything more than that would put huge strain on the performance expectations of the GT3 and GT2. As far as performance the z06 is hot ticket right now (yeah it's faster than the GT3 on equal tires too) until the GT2 and 600hp viper are released.
