Eric, do you know anyone on the West Coast who I can trust to do the install? I'm not bad at DIY projects involving electrical wiring. If I had detailed instructions with photos and the proper cables is this something I can install myself? Doesn't it need to be programed by the dealer afterwards so it communicates with the main unit? Are we talking about drilling a lot of holes in the glove box or center console?

Sharkwerks can probably do it.
Jamey Rawlings if you are in or nearl Pasadena too.
Programming required if you have no cd changer, takes five minutes to do that piece.
Mount the clip and iPod in the glove box, the unit can sit in the trunk. Very simple.
