Long Island Guards Red 997TT Sighting

Absolutely, positively beautiful Guards Red in person left me completely awestruck -- the car also had a nice tan interior that triggered the saliva glands. The plate was "TURBO S" -- anyone on here? If you're here, I was the guy in the gray M3 practically breaking my neck trying to get a look

I need one of these in my life.

raclaims is right-i have the same car, but no turbo s plates. i am surprised how few people consider getting the guards red on the turbo-twenty years ago, that is all you saw, but then again, they only had several colors then.

Guards Red is a stunning color. If/when I purchase a 997TT, it'll be my daily, so red unfortunately isn't in the cards in my situation.

Thanks for the invite, raclaims. If a stock E46 M is welcome, then I'd be more than pleased to attend the next meet!

Always like Red. Back in the 80's Red or Black were the hot colors. Then for some reason nobody was ordering red cars.I believe in the next few years red will again be one of the most ordered colors again.

Guards Red is actually a unique color now which is why I love mine. Everyone is gaga about silver and gray for some reason?

buddy-obviously, i agree. my 997tt is guards red with a beige interior. i had a seal grey 996tt, an artic silver 996c4 and another silver 996 (1999)-all 3 were bought off the lot from dealer's inventory. my 997tt, i was able to order, hence the red. most of the owner's turbos that i have seen are some shade of grey or black-those colors don't yell supercar to me. if we had a ferrari, then red with beige would be the color to have. i know color is a personal thing, but when i look at my car, i certainly don't miss the greys.

I think Grey in some cars look classy yet so agressive and love them, as you can see. BUT i wouldnt mind owing a yellow or red/orange/green car

Guards red is awesome and sure is a looker, ive never seen that 997TT around!
