Resale value on Carrera White?

Resale value on Carrera White?
Guys - I've been offered a Carrera White 997TT. It is done up very nicely, with deviated stiching, lips painted, etc., etc. Anyone have any idea what white cars typically do on resale? I would imagine they do better in warmer climates. I know red is sometimes difficult - is white any more or less?
I'm REALLY looking for a Cobalt Blue (or Lapis) manual car if anyone knows of one. I had two disappear on me within a day of me calling . There are midnight blue's out there but that is too dark for me.
Thanks,
Andrew

White was previously not a sought after color. However, with the intro of the 997 GT3, white is the new 'it' color and is very hot. I think you're pretty safe getting a tt or gt3 in white. If you want to see precipitous depreciation, buy lapis.

Well I drove to the dealer within an hour of being informed the car had become available. When I got there the car was parked out front and someone was sitting in it. Looked at the car a bit and then went inside to my sales guy. The guy in the car had bought it 5 minutes before I got there. It was gorgeous - I would have done it.
I got to chatting with the guy- he is planning on keeping it until he gets a 997TT Cab. I gave him my name and # and told him to call me. Arrrgggh! I think my sales guy was even more upset because he could tell he just lost a sale.

White is the hardest to get IN STOCK, rarely ordered for floor plan, but very popular config to order car. In FL, White turbos are very, very rare, and when available, bring top dollar (have had yellow, black, AND white turbo's so I can answer with degree of knowledge) 997 white tip, painted black wheels, and white all around the bottom, add black mirrors...wait, I think that is my car (and for sale soon!)
enjoy

The color "Carrara white" comes from a type of Italian marble if I remember correctly.
