I drive my GT3 every day. While it is not the best commuter (GT# seats, lowered etc) it is by far the best car I have owned. It shines on back roads, and on the highway, it eats up Italians that cost twice as much.

I would love to test drive a GT3. My turbo is on a boat, but this thread is starting to make me think.

It just depends on what type of car for which you are looking. Fortunately when it comes to Porsches there are many versions or options from which to choose, but unfortunately there is no perfect Porsche for every person.

Some know exactly what they want. Most have probably made some sort of compromise based on driving preference or style, practicality, availability, cost, past experience or purchases, and what they have read on these and other forums as to what they think would best suit them.

If it had back seats, I'd consider a GT3. Since that's not an option a TT is a better choice for me.

Use mine as a DD and I have another friend who did so with his 996 GT3 and his 997 GT3.....no problem at all...
