Thanks everyone. I am very happy with the sound. Soo much fun to drive around like that but I don't recommend straights for daily driving

I must say that I got a kick out of it leaving Sharkwerks. I had some guy in a minivan with his kid in the back look over to me and plug both his ears. He was trying to tell me my car was too loud. Of course I just looked at him and floored it. See yah Soccer Dad!!!

We'll have to take better vids one day cuz in person it sounds much much better!

Fred you were so excited you left your switcher on my desk If you're down/around tomorrow swing by and I'll show you how to use it You have _got_ to try that 100 octane mode. Or better still to save all the soccer dads I'll put you in the "Valet" mode

that is by far the best sounding exhaust note I've heard from any 996TT or 997TT. Sounds dare I say it...comparable to a GT3 and even the F'cars!!! A lot of TT's with straight pipes just don't sound right, but Fred, yours sounds perfect. Congrats. How's the extra power of the GT690 system?

It doesn't have the spool up of the Garrett's.. just doesn't, nor the fuel.... Trap speeds are about 127-8 with the 690 and 133 or so witht he 700

You gotta get more clips of that beast running. I love how smooth the turbos make the exhaust note. Many sanctioning bodies qualify a turbo as a form of muffler, so that works for me. I don’t know if it will work for the state trooper. I bet if you keep the revs low it isn’t too loud. I would run that on the streets as a daily commuter. Just think, if you see someone falling asleep on the way to the office you can give them their coffee via ear.
