I have about 600 miles on my turbo and have a few questions if anyone could help answer:

I hear rattling that sounds like it is coming from the center of the engine just behind exhaust pipes. Not sure if it is doing this all along or I just started to hear it when I pulled into the garage.

Above 3000 rpm the engine seems to start making a sound that sounds like intake noise but it seems weird. again I don't know if it was doing it all along or just started. Could it be the turbos starting to spool? It seems to happen right before the boost pressure builds.

Sorry if these are dumb but it's my first turbo and the most expensive car I ever had.

Above 3000 rpm sounds good dude, no worries... If it starts to sound like a F18 jet all is fine :-)

 

I spoke with the mastertech and he said the noises are normal.
