Porsche wheel/tire insurance?
Making the final plans for when I pick up my car and I asked the dealer to get me a price for this. I remember reading some posts where people thought this was a good thing to have.
Anyone know the specifics? is it just wheel or tires or both? Does having aftermarket wheels change anything?

chris-i got it-i am still not sure if it is the right thing to do-i paid about $500 for 4 years-the price is highly negotiable. i did it because i had 3 flats in my 997c4s. it will only pay for your wheels if they are so badly damaged that they can't hold air with your tires.

I've had two flats on my C4S, neither damaged the rims, incld one at 60 mph on the GCP. I say pass on that and all the 'extra warranty crap' they try to sell you before you drive off. Be strong, just say NO.

I got it but only because of the great weather we all have here in the northeast...the value is questionable at best - but work out a good price and don't look back...you always think you pay too much for insurance until you need it!
