they are more black than gray, but being a different material they take on that gray look. i didn't see the need in spending money painting something that could get scraped up. if i had chosen a different color, that would have been a different story.

I changed the exhaust and the headers at the same time, so my honest answer is I don't know how much difference the headers make. Simply I have noticed a difference in lag. We'll have to trust the experts on the difference the headers make, though my eyeball tells me they are better made than stock.

pure black...wife has a metallic BMW and it drives me crazy...looks dirty even when clean

i like the debadged turbo look... it looks clean

 

I like the debadged look also, especially with the silver hood crest...

The car feels great! It's revs sooner and easier, less lag. It's pulling more boost and it more like it should have been from the factory. I will admit though, I liked the stock version and probably wouldn't have bought all these additions had I driven a TT before.
