Well,

I found out what I needed to know. P1095 and P1096 popped up on my car after a track day today. Basically a MAF error code. Rummaged around the car and found out I had managed to pop-off the passenger side boost tube to the intercooler inlet tank. Popped it back on, cleared the codes and everything is cool again.

when the boost hose was off the car would not hold an idle nor would it rev past 3k, and the CE light came on almost immediately

That makes sense. The engine is sucking un-metered air (so it probably thinks the MAF is wacked). Funny, but this is the 3rd such incident I've seen in about 2 weeks (on different cars).

With what pc program do you read the Ecu and reset the errors?!
I am thinking of buying from www.durametric.com Is there anything else that I have to consider?!

I bought an Actron 9180 scantool off eBay for about $100. It works on all my cars. Durametric is not ready for the TT yet (from their info)

What type of connector do you use and where is it located on the car? Thanks.

All 1996+ cars use a standard OBD II port. In the TT it is located just below the steering column over the left footwell. You need to buy a scan tool that is compatible with the newer "CAN" systems.
