Interior painted door handles??

Well, picked up my TT. I did alot of "exclusive" options blindly (not being able to see the whole package) and I regret not getting the interior door handles painted. where can I pick these up aftermarket? thanks

Just send them to Eric. Or have a local body shop do them.

Are you talking about the door pulls, or something else?

I am talking about the actual piece that you grab to unlatch the door from the inside that is normally the plastic silver color. not the pull that you grab to close the door. thanks!

The door release lever (that you put your hands on to release the door from inside) is available as a part by itself, in factory Galvano Silver.

Trust me, you do NOT want to get these in a painted finish. We can do it, but it's not recommended.

The finish gets a lot of abuse, and is likely to chip over time. What color are you shooting for? It may be possible to powder coat them.

I thought you were referring to the all the area surrounding the pull in that cheap black plastic. The part that is finished when you opt for door finishers.

We paint the door finishers all the time. He was referring to the release mechanism.

Yeah, how hard is it to get all that off there? I'd really like to get mine painted - the black looks so crappy.

The door pieces are some work, interior panel removed, etc. But not rocket science, just go slowly. The old parts are history once removed too. But the new ones do look stunning.

Hi Eric

Do you have more pics from a White on Black (interior) ?
I am playing with some options, but it would be nice if you have some pics and get some (good) ideas
Can you also do (any) part in CF ?

Thanks
Mike

Mike, not a ton of pics just yet. But we have done the upper door trim, front center console pieces (they have to be taken off and buttons removed and sent to us), seatbacks, airbag covers for seats, seat hooks, seatbelt outlets, rear center consoles, ignition surrounds, mirror mount points, etc. You name it, if it's not leather, it can be painted.

Carbon: rear console, console storage lid, mirror mount points, ignition surround, sideview mirrors, center/left/right a/c vents, instrument gauge surround, etc.....

Thanks Eric

If you ever get some pics on white interior pieces (on black leather) let me know, I am going to play a round a little and see what I can make "exclusive"

Do you know of any specific CF pieces (I was thinking the door handle inside to open de door) would look great with the White area (in your earlier pic) and black leather door trim)

I will have fun trying to come up with something "special" while waiting for my final delivery

Mike

Eric is there a way to get the door release lever (silver part you use to open de door) in carbon (like the P-car carbon options) ?

Mike
