I am 6'-3" & 265 pounds, with a 36" inseam, 37" sleeve length & size 14 shoe. I fit well in a cabrio with adaptive sport seats. I have to place the seats all the way back & reclined slightly. The car is comfortable for long trips. The only complaint I have is that the side of the center console is too close. More legroom might correct this, but the back of the front seat is within 2" of the rear seat.

All tall drivers should also be advised that the folding wind deflector interferes with the seats when they are all the way back, due to design defect. Porsche is aware of this misfit problem and refuses to correct it. Tall drivers will not be able to use it.

I'm 6ft7in and 270lbs. Just taken delivery of my 997TT and DocJackson is absolutely correct. With standard seats you'll be fine. Order a Tiptronic and you'll find the car more comfortable to drive too.

Also de-spec the sunroof if ordering new. I did this and have 2" excess headroom.

How would a sunroof removal remove 2 inches? That much? Wow.

Not 2" - that's how much headroom I have. But certainly over an inch.

You gain about ~1.5" more headroom with sunroof delete.

true, but not the 997. Also can not get the thinner seat cushions on the 997.
