I wish but I can't Mike. I promised them to keep quiet for the time being
But expect something serious

I'm keen on grey tones Tim ... I can't help it ... if I buy a new car it will be black, dark grey or dark dark blue again

Sell the Gallardo Spyder and buy the Murci LP640 Roadster that will be my choice. Your 997TT is very nice and the LP640 roadstar is pure sex on wheels. Good luck with your choice.

I never liked the Rinspeeds for the 997 line, I do like them for the Cayenne tho. The Techarts I've seen too much already, I used to think they were the hottest rims for a Porsche but nowadays they kinda look old to me

Too each his own, right

It's easy Rami ...

Trade your G for my Cayman. If she's a shop-addict, she'll have less space to put stuff

Then sell the Cayenne, and get a Lp640 Roadster.

You'll still have the 997 TT to put a child in ... You'll have the roadster, which I know you want And if you really want, you still can bring the 997 TT to Ruf ...
+ your girlfriend won't ruin you :-)

Sounds like a perfect plan, when do I bring my car?

In all seriousness, I adore all cars you have. I'm sure you'll make the right decision. (before selling the G for the LP640, I still want that ride )

Exactly my choice...that way you don't have to mess with the mickey mouse LP640 roadster top with your short span of "nice" weather.

Rami,

Funny thing is that when I visited RUF last just over a month ago, they spoke to me at great length about their plans for the 997TT. I was told not to say anything either but they did say that they'd make an announcement 2 weeks after my visit. Clearly that still hasn't happened yet! I think that's ironic. When do they expect to be done with yours?

The hell with the cars - 30-60 nice days a year!!!??? LOL! I think I'd kill myself.

Seriously, amazing cars you have and no "bad" decision can be made. How about a 599? Saw a red/black w/ red stitching the other day and was the most amazing interior i've ever seen.

Daggie: Heh, if I WOULD go for the LP640 Roadster then it wouldn't be here for at least a year so we still have some time for that drive

E55AMG: By 30-60 nice days I mean days that you get up, have a clear blue sky without any chance of rain whatsoever and keep it like that all day long. It can be compared to the UK but a bit warmer and less rain.

Atomic80: I'm dealing with Ruf for quite some time now. I will have the first upgrade done in August (could have been done faster but I'm waiting for the production of a customized rear wing). The biggest conversion might take some extra time. I'm afraid I can't get into further details but I can say that it's completely justified and I wouldn't want it any other way. Let's say that this is THE reason why I would only go to Ruf for a full engine upgrade. More news later

Rain, rain rain and mostly in weekends, one of the reasons I moved to the Caribbean/Florida (besides taxes )

Rami keep us posted on the Ruf developments, really interested, just wondering where you could get the RUF engine upgrade in the States

Mike
